Hollywood Optometrist – Dr. Xavier P. Ordonez, F.A.A.O.


Dr. Xavier P. Ordonez is a graduate of the State University of New York, College of Optometry. In 1997, he completed his residency training in Low Vision and Ocular Disease. In 1999, Dr. Ordonez completed his fellowship and is currently a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. He has also published various research papers in the field of Optometry. Dr. Ordonez is state certified to diagnose and treat Glaucoma. He is also involved with the Lions Club, so please donate your old glasses the less fortunate.

Dr. Ordonez interest in Optometry started in college where he began doing research at the Sheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia. His interest in eyecare and research lead to a doctorate degree in Optometry in 1996. After completing his residency in New York, Dr. Ordonez found true love and followed his heart to California where he has been happily married for 25 years.

Hollywood Optometrist – Dr. Sara Ahdoot     

Dr. Sara Ahdoot is a dedicated optometrist who is passionate about providing comprehensive,
patient-centered eye care and helping her patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in
their vision health. Born and raised in Southern California, she graduated cum laude from
University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Psychology/Human Health. There, she
developed a strong foundation in the sciences and discovered her passion for healthcare.
Dr. Ahdoot then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Marshall B. Ketchum University,
formerly known as Southern California College of Optometry, graduating summa cum laude.
She further advanced her clinical training through an ocular disease/primary care residency at
the Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, part of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.
During her residency, she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of ocular
conditions while serving diverse patient populations.
Currently practicing in Los Angeles, Dr. Ahdoot is known for her compassionate approach,
attention to detail, and commitment to enhancing her patients’ quality of life through clear vision
and healthy eyes.
